Visual Basic 2016 - Graphical User Interfaces
Visual Basic is an Integrated Development Programming Enviroment from Microsoft, derived from BASIC, Visual Basic was designed to be easy to learn, use and user-friendly for beginners. Visual Basic allows Rapid Application Development of Graphical User Interface Applications by enabling programmers to select and modify chosen lengths of code, written in the BASIC Programming Language, by use of a Graphical User Interface.
The simplicity, speed and beginner-friendly desgin of Visual Basic allows it to be used to prototype applications before they are then rewritten in a more complex but comprehesive language. Visual Basic is largely used to write working applications and programs, Microsoft reports at least 3 million developers use Visual Basic for creation of graphical user interface applications, Data Access Objects, access to databases using Remote Data Objects, or ActiveX Data Objects and creation of ActiveX controls and objects.
BASIC Programming Language
Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code is a collection of general-use, advanced level programming languages based solely on a ease of use design. BASIC was created to enable students who didn't study science and mathematics to use computers. At the time, almost all computers required writing custom software, which was something only scientists and mathematicians learnt.
